At the pools.
There are two. The Village Pool is the wide one with the swim-up bar, shallow at the near end where the children play and deeper as you go, though never more than 1.05 m, so an adult stands up anywhere in it. The Mirror Pool runs between the towers down to the sand: it is a reflecting pool with a walkway, not a swimming pool.
Both were refinished in the recent works, along with the deck tile and the furniture.
Pool rules
- Open 9 am to 10 pm. There is no lifeguard at any time, so the pool is used at your own risk.
- Maximum depth is 1.05 m, about 3.4 ft. It is shallow everywhere, so no diving.
- Children under twelve are supervised by an adult. Infants under two wear a swim diaper.
- Shower before you get in, and no sunscreen or body cream in the water. Nor oil or sand: all of it goes straight into the filtration.
- No glass of any kind anywhere in the pool area. Drinks from the bar come in plastic for exactly this reason, and food and drink stay out of the water.
- Loungers are not reserved with towels or belongings, and a towel on the lounger, please. Leave the furniture where it stands.
- Music through headphones only. No running or shouting; it carries across the whole property.
- Smoking only at the bar, using the ashtray.
- No topless or nude sunbathing. This is a family building.
- Pets are not allowed in the pool area.
- The Mirror Pool is not for swimming or wading.
Wristbands.
Every guest is given a wristband at check-in, and any visitor you invite collects one at the front desk. It is how the staff can tell at a glance who belongs at the pool and in the common areas.
It exists to make your stay easier rather than to police it: a band makes it quick for staff to see that you are a registered guest. Please wear it for the length of your stay. If it comes off or breaks, bring the wristband to the front desk and they will replace it at no cost.
Visitors register at the front desk when they arrive and hand the band back when they leave. Visiting hours are 10 am to 7 pm.
In short

Why? So staff can see at a glance who is registered.

Set by the owners’ assembly, and the same for everyone, owners included.
Only pets belonging to resident owners are allowed.

Music on balconies and rooftops stops at quiet hours. Sound carries much further across the water and the open roofs than you would think.
Guests of guests register at the front desk and leave by quiet hours. Parties are not permitted in any residence.
Take it to the dumpsters in the parking garage. The garage entrance is on level one, next to the co-working table on the main level; the dumpsters are on your right as you go in.
Your host sets the time and the key arrangements. The front desk can store luggage.
Parking.
The most convenient parking is the garage, and you reach it from Calle 26. It is limited and can be full at times, particularly in high season.
Pull into the front entrance on Calle 28, unload, and check in. You are given a wristband to show security in the parking lot, and they hand you a cone marked with the number of the space they assign you.
If you park on the street
All street parking in Playa del Carmen runs on meters, with one near wherever you stop.
Metered parking applies during the day and is free from 10 pm to 10 am.

Arrival.
The entrance is on Calle 28 Norte, at the beach end. Taxis stop at the gate. The front desk registers every guest and will point you to your host’s instructions. For the garage and the street meters, see parking above.
Sargassum season.
Seaweed reaches this coast between roughly April and September and varies day to day. The beach is usually cleaned in the morning. When it is heavy, the cenotes and the west coast of Cozumel are worth considering instead. Check conditions before you set out.
